disastrous night
I come home from work today and get into the house with a weird noise and a weird smell. I got the nightmare scene of the nonsensical problem of water just pouring from the ceiling and dribbling down the ceiling fans. A stupid plastic plumbing fitting had self-destructed and was gushing water full blast into the upstairs bathroom and into the halls, living room, side room, and basement. I got the valve to the upstairs closed. I've got the furnace light again and the dehumidifier running again. Every window that isn't stuck is cracked open. A whole lot of model rocket stuff in the basement is ruined, including an '80s and a '90s Estes Saturn V
